TOKEN PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The Tenet Stablecoin Protocol is a decentralized platform that operates as a stablecoin protocol using the Liquity model. It enables users to take out interest-free loans against collateral assets that yield returns. The loans are drawn in LSDC, which is a stablecoin pegged to the US dollar. To maintain the health of the system, a minimum collateral ratio must be maintained.
Apart from collateral, the loans are also backed by a Stability Pool that contains LSDC, and by other borrowers who collectively act as a guarantor of last resort. You can find more information on these mechanisms in our documentation.
As a non-custodial protocol, the Tenet Stablecoin operates based on the codebase of Liquidity, which has been expanded to support multiple types of collateral and a unique governance system secured by a base layer protocol.
